It’s their trance inducing dance fever sound that jolts and vibrates and intrigues and no doubt will get you to get up and cutting the rug. Taranja Wu with a Chinese hue? and Olifr M. Guz serve up an excessive sonic ambiance based on loaded tonal structures seemingly of the spaced-out extraterrestrial kind. The two call their performance art pop experimental and it’ll get you to swerve and swoon like a drunken sailor. From the familiar to the hitherto not yet experienced even the totally unimaginable. Pretty unique stuff. Scurrilous songs are sung with a reference Iggy and The Stooge’s «Gimme Danger» or to curious Stevie Wonder «Our Worst Song». They astound and startle with layered and escapist guitar escapades and ominous vocal interpretations and a strange and mesmerizing stage manner. It’d be great if these fearless pop experimenter’s new album «Counterfactuals» could be with them and us tonight.
Naked in English Class is mega cool. A hot new dance combo named after a Duchampien wet dream.
