You’ll have to check this out yourself. Soundwise, he’s really all alone. He’s the Swiss one-man-band sensation they say, he’s using guitar, synth (a vintage Minikorg, no less), drumkit and rabelrousing vocals that are shouting from a megaphone. With lyrics in English, German and Swissgerman, jawoll. And because he brings his own soundsystem, he’s able to plug in easy and whenever he chooses and is able to stage guerilla shows wherever he chooses, adding that elusive ad-hoc freshness to his gigs. Gigs cramped behind bars and classy venues like your average public toilet. He moved on from the outhouse to the inhouse and went on tour or opened for artists like Iggy & The Stooges, G. Love and Special Sauce, Text Icicles, Quit your Dayjob, Reverend Beatman, The Masonics, John Schooley and a bunch of others. And name calling aside, he elaborates «I’m always looking for a specific sound, but never for a specific audience».Less cerebral, he emphatically calls his music «Hot shit from Switzerland», and you might call that an understatement. Whereas his label, the magic Vodoo Records which issued his latest album «Twoheaded Demon», thinks it’s «Swiss-spankin’-electro-trash-garage-boogie-disco-blues-punk». We call it «dancestylemusic» in the sense that it’s rare to hear an outstanding artist who’s so skilled that he can dance this surefooted from musical style to style. Let’s hope your own inevitable stylish dancing moves will come to you just as easy.
