oh what a night...
Rolando Bruno
y su Orquesta MIDI (AR)
Ask anybody what they think their future might be like and it's likely, you're gonna get a slackjaw and an empty-eyed stare. Not so from our Argentinian ‹Cumbia from Colombia› musician friend Rolando Bruno, who apparently has his laidback time ahead all coolly under wraps.

«To keep on doing what I'm currently doing, that is, teaching the guitar, touring with the Orquesta, all for the fun of it. Not much more actually, really, in 20 years I see myself with a little Rolando and with a wife; perhaps I'll be a bit more rotund and with a little less hair... well, maybe not fatter, but definitely with less hair. And perhaps I'll give up playing futbol in a few years. It's because I realise, I'm just not going to be Piojo Lopez» (Claudio Javier Lopez, nicknamed «El Piojo» - the louse - who played in Europe for Valencia and Lazio).

And when he's not letting his guitar fly higher and higher with the Los Peyotes, he's hotbloodedly and singlehandedly revolutionizing the Cumbia from Colombia, «that sensual couple's dance that was a circle dance initially during more prim colonial times». Musically funtastic rhythms, hot and heavy and great to dance to, this Cumbia from Colombia. It's brought to you tonite by the subtropical guitar seducer and laidback bonvivant, Rolando Bruno y Su Orquesta  Midi. Por eso, guidado muchachas - cono!  the guy's looking for a wife.
