Another alumni of that school is Fabrizio Consoli. He was born 1964 in Seregno near racy Monza and currently lives in Milan. To call him just a sought-after session musician is an understatement, although one that's supported by his collaboration with some of the biggest names in Italian contemporary music: Eugenio Finardi, Alice, PFM, C. De Andre, Mauro Pagani, O Fado, «La Notte Delle Chitarre», and many others. It's an understatement in the sense that his true love and higher calling is as a singer-songwriter and live-performer in his own right.
And his passion for his art you now have the privilege to encounter on your own. His fourth and current album is «Musica per Ballare», it's an impressive mix of jazz, pop, tango and hot Latin grooves. Underscored by his guitar, his words express bittersweet truisms and are full of irony, full of sensual life and full of wishful dreams that'll grab your senses like only this maestro and his art truly can.
You won't find him tutti solo on our stage; this great contemporary musical poet is bringing with him his sidemen Gigi Rivetti on piano, Fabio Buonarota on trumpet and Silvio Centamore on drums and percussion. All you have to do is bring yourself. Amici, buona serrata a tutti - per certo!
