WolfWolf & The Tuzemak Orchestra
Led by the two big bad Wolf brothers and supported by four Tuzemaks, they’re the one outrageous band that’s very likely going to exceed the limitations of good taste.

Get ready for some hard-driving rock that could make hard-core rockers ZZ Top and their fellow Texans, the alt-rock Butthole Surfers, cry with joy. Hear frantic dashes of somewhat dusty punk; plus a deadly Ramones cover, Pet Cemetery, that’s sure to make Joey, Dee Dee, Johnny and Tommy smile in their cemetery; plus Aram «sabre dance» Khachaturian-like speedy interludes; plus prototypical, sweeping Ray Manzarek organ bits; plus some real trashy hillbilly banjo and balkanized tunes, drunken words and sardonic belting. And shades of Bobby Pickett’s original «Monster Mash» (did you know that the then unknown Leon Russell was on piano?). All a glorious celebration of the bizarre and aiming at nothing less than sonic annihilation.

Their videos are something to watch, too. Various songs and albums (The Blind Butcher, Hexentanzen/Dance of Witches, The Cryptic Zoo, Pet Cemetary, Roswell 47 a.o have been translated to black & white celluloid in F.W. Murnau’s creepy style: Blood dripping down the screen; the chopping of a Cervelat (you’re gonna feel that in yours) alternating with the pounding of a pork chop, the employment of a dead skull as a drum; flying saucers zooming around Death Valley, and there’s the customary decapitated head as well. It’s simple, nothing’s sacred with the WolfWolf’s and the Tuzemak Orchestra. And if you’re wondering about what Tuzemak stands for: It’s the brand name of a cheap and because of that very popular Czech-made rum that blasts through the veins like the orient express with the intention of keeping them clean and healthy…
